CigarVolante is the combination of those indulgences that make life rich and full; things like cigars, wine, motorcycles, women that ride motorcycles, good friends; all the good stuff. After two years that has culminated in the Tour de Panacea!
Beethovenfound, a 501(C)3, charitable corporation was created to utilize major symphony orchestras to help support people in need by organizing concerts to raise funds, provide entertainment, culture, and classical music education in a fun environment. It’s our way of saying, ’Thank You’ for their dedication and loyalty to the United States and the citizens they have pledged their lives to protect.
At the end of World War I and II our troops were welcomed home. Since the Korean War and the Vietnamese War our troops have not been respected to that degree nor honored for their service and their sacrifice. The Tribute to the Wounded Warrior is all about changing that.
With advancements in battlefield medicine and body armor, an unprecedented percentage of service members are surviving severe wounds or injuries. For every U.S. soldier killed in World Wars I and II, there were 1.7 soldiers wounded. In Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, for every U.S. soldier killed, seven are wounded. Combined, there have been almost 42,000 injured in the two conflicts – nearly 32,000 injured in Operation Iraqi Freedom and nearly 10,000 in Operation Enduring Freedom. Combine that with our Vietnam Vets and soldiers from other Wars and we have a large group of dedicated soldiers and servicemen that deserve our respect. They all need our help!
The Tribute to the Wounded Warrior on May 27 is a great way to show them that respect, to offer that help, and to get personally involved in supporting our warriors their activities, their music and their events. Join us and them on Memorial Day Sunday as we thank them for their service in support of our country. This is a lot better way to pay tribute than a parade!
